Free clip art for best friends. Antique images, postcards and photographs for scrap booking, ATC, greeting cards and collage

Hi everyone! Welcome to all you new visitors and dear followers.
On my last visit to the legacy there was a box of free wool yarn in front of the store. There is always something free out there! The reason this beautiful yarn was out there was because it smelled incredibly musty. It was truly terrible. But the colors were fabulous so I packed it up to take it home. Luckily I had a big plastic bag in my car to contain the odor.  Next I did something that will make all you knitters cringe. I washed all of it in the washing machine on hot! Twice! No more stinky yarn.  Not the kind of stuff to knit a sweater but perfect for other projects.

So many images to pick from makes it hard to settle on a theme.
First is one of the cutest photographs ever. Not sure if she doesn't want to leave or she does not want you to leave. Just precious!
On to the theme of the day Best Friends! I looked for pictures to honor those special friends that we have a special connection with. Or a sister.
If you use images please be sure and mention that you found it on bumble button.

Thank you for visiting and following my little blog. I enjoy posting pictures for you all so much. Hope your day is a creative one, Louise

Some of my favorite things!  The use of the images are free for your use. Please mention bumble button if you do. That way other artists can find their way here. Your comments are my inspiration and motivation.

Antique cabinet photographs to share with you. Legacy 25% off sale this week.

Hi and welcome to everyone!
First the Legacy thrift store is having a 25% off sale all week. So if you are anywhere near Sonoma county and Sebastopol be sure and stop by.
Just stopped over to Carol Ann's boutique. My little blog looks so shabby and not very chic in comparison. I really need to work on my blog page. How does she and so many of you create such beautiful blogs?!!
One thing I can do is find pictures for you.Everyone needs new material to inspire and work with. It has been awhile since I have posted some antique cabinet photos.  That is the theme today.
I am feeling a blog posting frenzy coming on so there may be more for you later today!
Be sure and mention bumble button on your blogs. I am always interested in seeing what you have made using images from here.
What a dress!!

Of all the photos of little boys I have come across this by far has the most frills and lace!

I love this one. One of my favorites.
Thank you for your continued positive comments. Turning on the computer to see what you have to say is so fun.
Much love to you all, Louise

P.S. Requests are welcome.

Victorian clip art and images of Darling Sweet Babies. Free for use in collage ATC scrap booking or as instant art.

Just babies. Lots of cute sweet babies.

All the images are taken from antique postcards, books and magazines. Most are from the Victorian or Edwardian years.   Hope you find the pictures in today's post as beautiful and interesting as I have.

Remember when our own children did this? What a wonderful milestone for baby and the dotting parents.

A moment to reflect once dear little one has fallen asleep.

Another favorite originally from an antique  nursery rhyme book.

The layette items are from an antique french magazine. If you have ever wondered what nappy's and diapers looked like in the 1800's, now you know!

Fur lined booties to keep baby's feet warm and toasty.

An antique Victorian baby from a old scrap book.

This is a favorite one.Such a sweet face.

Love this one.

So glad you have found or are on  a return visit. Stay awhile and enjoy some of the pretty images I have posted for you.
