Romantic Victorian 19th century paintings of children,English cottage,18th century clothing,

Hi everyone! I am so excited because there are now 100 bumble button followers! Who would of thought. To top that off there have been 28,000 page views! Just astounding.
My search for new images has turned up some real treasures.
First a fashion plate of stomachers? I can not remember the spelling or even if this is the right term. From 1770's Marie Antoinette and Colonial Williamsburg era.

A very Victorian painting of a little girl playing fairy.

Quaint English cottage. Is it tea time yet?

Warm sunny windows, one of my most  favorite places in the world.

Thank you for your kind words. It is wonderful to hear from you. Please enjoy the pictures. Much love to all of you, Louise

An English cottage,Jane Austen Era lady, and a romantic sledding couple

I think you will really like today's pictures. They are all so refined. First is a romantic winter skating scene. Very luxurious sledding for this pampered lady.
For all of you who love Jane Austen and her many books a special portrait. A beautiful woman of the era.

A quaint English timbered style cottage. I would love to see the inside!

There will more pictures to follow shortly.See you in a few, Louise

Just Christmas!1910-20's Christmas cards & Seals, Art Deco Tree,

Hi everyone. How are you all doing? The days have slipped by and already it's Thursday evening. The short daylight takes getting use to. Well on to the fun stuff. Here are 8 greeting cards and a bunch of Christmas seals / stamps. Most are from early 1920's and older. My favorite is the first, black and red Christmas tree.Very art deco and current. The quality of the stamps at the end are a little muddled. I know so many of you are way more computer savoy and can use anything to create with.

This cottage reminds me of Mary Engelbreit designs

There will be more later tonight depending how well I sleep! Insomnia is great for my blog. It has been a while since I actually made  something(other than a mess). My sister gave me a pretty blouse that just does not fit at all but the fabric is so pretty. So I took it apart and re cut the fabric. Just need to sew it back together.
